Wednesday Recap & Photos

With weather reports promising rain at some point in the morning, we had several contingency plans that we never had to use because the rain never came! While some groups continued to serve at their locations, half the groups tackled new projects. The groups working at Abundance Acres and Memorial Park teamed up to move wood at the Colonial House Inn in Weston. It was hard work and they all enjoyed the much-needed showers later in the day. The group in Cavendish also worked incredibly hard digging out a culvert that was clogged due to flooding and erosion. The pastor with them estimated that they removed around 17,000 lbs of gravel from the culvert! The tiredness is setting in, but we aren't losing steam quite yet. We're looking forward to a couple busy and rewarding last couple of days.
