Here's a peak at what each team is doing this week. We have several small (one or two day) projects slated this week, so it's unlikely any group will do the same thing every day this week, so this is just a taste of what's been worked on this week. The team names are again retired Ben & Jerry's flavors — we reused our favorites from last week and added a few more!
Here are photos for Tuesday!
Team Coffee Ole
Coffee Ole on Monday scraped paint and did tons of hard work at a woman's home in Chester. On Tuesday they went to Abundance Acres to stain benches and later went to Taylor Farm for cleaning and cooking.
Team the Gobfather
The Gobfather has been working at the Springfield Family Center helping them organize and label food for their food shelter.
Team Holy Cannoli
Holy Cannoli has been helping the Congregational Church in Londonderry with their annual Whale of Sale. They've been cleaning out garages and storage containers for furniture and other belongings for the church to sell later in the week.
Team Monkey Wrench
Monkey Wrench has been working hard stacking wood at the Colonial House through the sun and rain.
Team American Pie
American Pie is helping to run the Vacation Bible School at Calvary Baptist Church in Springfield. In the afternoon they went to the Springfield Parent & Child Center to squeeze the water out of rubber ducks that were part of a river race fundraiser. They've been having a great time!
Team Wavy Gravy
Wavy Gravy is working in Cavendish with Abe Gross, the pastor of the Baptist church. They've been doing all sorts of projects around the town and at the church.
Also, Gavin says hi.
