Colossians 3:23

We're midway through the week and the students are feeling the Wednesday sleepies. But man is it merited. Visiting each work site these past few days, I've been blown away by the heart the students are putting into their projects and the impact their work is going to make on the town. One of the most exciting projects around is Team Apple Jacks doing some serious renovations at Memorial Park. This has been a beloved site for Londonderry families for decades, and this team is giving it some much needed TLC. Their work, especially in overhauling the bath houses, will be such a blessing to park goers. Another team highlight is the Golden Grahams crew (led by Golden Gramps Jerome) carving a walking trail through Pingree Park. Community members are SO pumped about this; in fact, two eager walkers tried to take the path when it was barely halfway finished yesterday. Our team had to tell them to check back in a few days for a completed trail. One more story: Team Froot Loops moved an entire demolished house to a new location for a longtime local friend and her 7-week-old baby in just one day. They said it was only by supernatural strength and energy from the Lord that they could complete this project in record time. God is moving in big ways up here, and we're so grateful for the opportunity to do His work! Please pray for renewed energy and enthusiasm for the crew!
Until next time! -- Jackie
Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters. -- Colossians 3:23
